The 10th Day Of Chinese New Year 年初十

Here comes the 10th day of Chinese New Year!
5 more days and Chinese New Year will be end.

Head back to Labuan again.
Open house party from both uncles.
Excited actually,
Going to meet all of them again after 7 days!
Even though just stay up for 1 night,
But still feel so great!

Dizzy did knocked up again,
Skipped the very early breakfast till 9 a.m.
Dim sum and a bar of granola bar,
Great, dizziness gone!

11 a.m., reached to the place where I love the atmosphere.
A short conversation with grandma.
Headed to uncle's house since mum and dad need to go out.
Spent all afternoon at uncle's house,
Talking, singing, acapella-ing, selfie-ing, eating, drinking, ice-breaking,
Great!

Mum and dad decided to bring us to Papayas Beach Lodge.
Well, lunch time, burger time!
Since we tried the burger before on the 2nd day of Chinese New Year.
It was so good! Still remember the flavour till now.

The grilled chicken burger and cold honey lemon.
Wasn't that good today, not so juicy and a little burnt.
But over roll, still good.

A nice one this time.

Done shower.
After a little conversation with family,
Heading to uncle's house and ready for the party.
Too full for the buffet, so skipped dinner just drinks.

Lion dance!
Should I call it dragon dance?
Lots of discussions, lots of photos of course.
The singing and talking sessions after the lion dance.

Day well spent,
So rush, so enrich.
Thank God.

Just remember, in the winter,
Far beneath, the bitter snows,

The Second Day Of Chinese New Year 年初二

Here comes the second day of Chinese New Year!
年初二

Time flies,
Tomorrow heading back to KK soon.
Whatever, still enjoying the wonderful atmosphere here!

Woke up quite early this morning,
Ready to have some breakfast with family at the shop.
Tough morning, sigh.
Not that tough since there had a braid on my hair.

Warm place, warm atmosphere, warm people.
Thank you again and again.
Pan Mee and lemonade for breakfast. Yum.

Mum and dad went to the shop where nearby the jetty,
Buy something.
They went to many places where dad used to came along while childhood.
Childhood memories perhaps?
I think yes.
No matter what, sleepiness, knock knock knock!

Been turning around and around for an hour.
Finally, reached uncle's house!
All of them felt sleepy, 
But I'm the one who was so energetic after a little nap while the road trip.

Cousin Melda was watching TV while having her brunch.
All of them fell asleep in the living room.
Both of us were miming and trying not to wake them up.
TV, miming, silent laughing.
Feeling good.

Grandpa and grandma were feeling tired and they went home for rest.
Uncle's house, dad, cousin Melda and I.
We karaoke in a quite low voices I guess?
But dad was too sleepy, so he doesn't care.
Lots of lots of songs,
Lots of lots of photos,
Lots of lots of memories.

Before that, cousin Melda offered me some drinks and ice-cream.
Cookies and cream, yam, and green tea flavour.
I admitted it was kinda weird that the 3 flavours were adding up in a cone,
But if you tried one by one,
It actually tastes good!

Karaoke time!
Was so embarrassed at first,
But later, just sing it, no one cares anymore!
Cousin Tracy and sis joined us after finished their brunch.
Singing, screaming like wow.
Dad joined us while he becoming the judge for the karaoke.

Going for a road trip again with the sisters!
Even just sitting inside the car, enjoying the views,
But this is what we do.
I think is the craziest thing we've ever done so far.

Of course we sang together too.

But it's quite nice.

The nervous moment when you raised your hand,

Just like asking a question in the classroom.

Finally, I am brave enough to raise up my hand,

Uncle decided to bring us to some sort of lounge or bistro.

We were just sitting at the table in front of the live band!

I was so so so excited!

I've asked for the tempo since I don't have any experience singing with the live band.
The very first time ever in my life singing with the live band tonight!

And I know the pianist was trying to help me in case I can't catch the tempo.

But I'm a singer, so tempo is not a problem for me.

And he felt so relieved when I catch the tempo so well.

The First Day of Chinese New Year 年初一

First day of Chinese New Year!

年初一

Woke up early today,

Dressed up,

The pretty cool shoes,

Done prepared.

Breakfast with family before heading to aunt's house.

Chinese New Year's songs all the way.

Reached aunt's house,

Met up with uncle, aunt and 2 little cutie cousins.

Grandpa, grandma and uncle came for a visit too.

Snacks, drinks, 

Chit-chat, laughter,

Little cousin Xin Hui was super cool,

After visited aunt's house,

Heading to uncle's house again.

It's Chinese New Year's Eve!

Woke up at 8 a.m. this morning.

Say goodbye to dizzy!

Got great news early in the morning!
