虽然隔了这么多年，但一开始知道时，还是很生气。

原来还是会心痛啊。

凭什么说他私自退出，说他背叛，说他抛弃一切呢？

凭什么说另一个他比较痛苦，比较糟糕呢？

又怎么知道他不痛苦，不糟糕呢？

他也不想离开，不想放下一起拼搏的一切啊。

从他口中说出的，才愿意相信，别的一律不听也不接受。

他果然没让人失望啊。

虽然说他在一个星期前离开，每个人都说他不负责任，

抛下一切就这样走了，恨过、气过，也伤心过，

但之后想了想，是我们哪里做错了吗？一部分，应该是吧。

现在也原谅了，只希望一切都安好，这样就够了。

不能说一开始知道时没有生气，真的好气，

In an exclusive interview with Billboard, Chen talked about working with the renowned songwriter, Paul Kim.

"Paul Kim is an artist I really like. I was given a great opportunity, and he worked on my song. A small worry of mine was that Paul Kim’s sensitive feel would be portrayed [in the song]. It was a song with the sensitive emotive tone of Paul Kim, and so I was concerned about how I can express it in my own way. The end result was great and I’m so pleased with it. I was very happy when Paul Kim said he liked it as well."

Sorry not sorry 하고 싶던 말 是一首以钢琴与弦乐的组合突出的抒情曲，由创作歌手Paul Kim写词，通过陈以平静的歌声唱出频繁的裂痕导致恋人间的缝隙渐渐无法被填补，不得不选择分手的男人的故事，紧紧扣住听众的心。
