Jai Jerung, seorang pemuda nakal yang hidupnya tiba-tiba berubah selepas bertemu dengan Iris Sofea . Iris ni merupakan seorang gadis yang menghidap Deprivation Amblyopia dimana penglihatannya sangat terhad dan terpaksa menggunakan tongkat untuk bergerak.
Kisahnya bemula apabila berlaku satu insiden dimana Iris tanpa sengaja telah menyerang Jai. Tanpa disangka-sangka pertemuan yang tidak dijangka ini menjadi permulaan hubungan baik antara mereka berdua. Mereka mula mengenali satu sama lain dengan lebih dalam dan pada akhirnya saling jatuh cinta.

"Dari Mata Turun Ke Hati", a drama I’ve been wanting to watch since last year, and I finally did! Mierul Aiman and Arabella Ellen have definitely become two of my favorite Malaysian actors and actresses — their acting was so natural, especially Mierul! And their chemistry in this drama was truly chef’s kiss!! How would I describe this drama? Sweet, super cute, and it goes straight into your heart!

This drama carries such beautiful values and life lessons. As an OKU myself, I could really feel and relate to this drama, and deeply empathize with what Iris went through. The values and positive messages are so touching — with such a supportive family and friends around, it honestly made me tear up, as I am also very grateful to have had such caring and supportive family and friends around me since I was small.

Just because of my condition doesn’t mean my existence has no value, or that my passion has no value. I’ve learned that this isn’t my fault — I don’t have to say sorry, I don’t have to feel guilty most of the time. I should’ve just acted like Jai did, and simply said "Thank you". We just want everybody to treat us like normal people, just like everyone else. Sometimes, all we need is someone like Jai, who treats us sincerely and wholeheartedly. We’re the same as everyone else, aren’t we?

And of course, Iris is definitely our role model — don’t judge a person simply by their appearance.
