The Battleship Island 军舰岛 군함도

Starring Hwang Jung Min, So Ji Sub, Song Joong Ki and Kim Su An. It's a Japanese occupation-era film about an attempted prison break from a forced labor camp on Hashima Island.

About a group of about 400 Korean workers who risk their lives to attempt an escape from Hashima, and the story of forced labor on the island.

Hwang Jung Min as Lee Kang Ok

A bandmaster at a hotel in Gyeongseong, who chooses to take his only daughter to Japan in order to keep her safe. But they get sent to the Hashima labor camp instead, and there he'll do anything that's asked of him, as long as he can protect his daughter.

So Ji Sub as Choi Chil Sung

The best street fighter in Gyeongseong, a coarse man who constantly stirs up troubles in the labor camp. Under his harsh and rough exterior, he has a good heart.

Song Joong Ki as Park Moo Young

A member of the Korean independence movement who infiltrates the island in order to rescue a fellow independence fighter being held captive there.

Lee Jung Hyun as Oh Mal Nyeon

A comfort woman who gets moved to Hashima after going through endless troubles under the Japanese colonization, but never loosens her strong grip on hope.

Kim Su An as Lee So Hee

Lee Kang Ok's daughter. She was being captured by the Japanese general because of her talents in singing and dancing.

First of all, most of the actors and actresses are those who you familiar with, So Ji Sub, Song Joong Ki and Kim Su An are those whom I love their acting very much! I have to praise for Hwang Jung Min and Lee Jung Hyun as well, their acting just bring this movie to another level, especially Hwang Jung Min.

But what I didn't expect were, how come So Ji Sub, Lee Jung Hyun and Hwang Jung Min died in the end of the movie? I really did not expect that! That part when Hwang Jung Min died, Kim Su An cried so bad and make your heart aches too. Always love Kim Su An's acting since "Hide and Seek". She really nailed every roles that she played.

Last but not least, So Ji Sub and Song Joong Ki, the best out of best, with all the action scenes were just superb! Song Joong Ki, handsome as always.

Coco

In Santa Cecilia, Mexico, Imelda Rivera was the wife of a musician who left her and their 3-year-old daughter Coco, to pursue a career in music. She banned music in the family and opened a shoemaking family business. 96 years later, her great-great-grandson, 12-year-old Miguel, now lives with 99-year-old Coco and their family. He secretly dreams of becoming a musician like Ernesto de la Cruz, a popular actor and singer of Coco's generation. One day, Miguel inadvertently damages the photo of Coco with her parents at the center of the family ofrenda and removes it, discovering that her father (whose face is torn out) was holding Ernesto's famous guitar.

Concluding that Ernesto is Miguel's great-great-grandfather, Miguel leaves to enter a talent show for the Day of the Dead despite the objections of his grandmother Elena. He enters Ernesto's mausoleum and steals his guitar to use in the show, but becomes invisible to everyone in the village plaza. However, he can see and be seen by his Xoloitzcuintli dog Dante and his skeletal dead relatives who are visiting from the Land of the Dead for the holiday. Taking him there, they realize that Imelda cannot visit as Miguel removed her photo from the ofrenda. Discovering that he is cursed for stealing from the dead, Miguel must return to the Land of the Living before sunrise or he will become one of the dead: to do so, he must receive a blessing from a member of his family using an Aztec marigold petal that can undo the curse placed upon him by stealing Ernesto's guitar. Imelda offers Miguel a blessing but on the condition that he abandon his musical pursuits when he returns to the Land of the Living; Miguel refuses and attempts to seek Ernesto's blessing.

Miguel encounters Héctor, a down-on-his-luck skeleton who once played with Ernesto and offers to help Miguel reach him. In return, Héctor asks Miguel to take his photo back to the Land of the Living so he can visit his daughter before she forgets him and he disappears completely. Héctor attempts to return Miguel to his relatives, but Miguel escapes and infiltrates Ernesto's mansion, learning along the way that an old friendship between the two deteriorated before Héctor's death. Ernesto welcomes Miguel as his descendant, but Héctor confronts them, imploring Miguel to take his photo. Miguel soon realizes that Ernesto murdered Héctor using a poisoned drink and stole the songs he had written, passing them off as his own to become famous. To try and avert his legacy being tainted Ernesto steals the photo and has Miguel and Héctor thrown into a cenote pit.

Miguel realizes that Héctor is his actual great-great-grandfather and that Coco is Héctor's daughter, the only living person who still remembers him. With the help of Dante – who turns into an alebrije – the dead Riveras find and rescue them. Miguel reveals that Héctor's decision to return home to her and Coco resulted in his death, and Imelda and Héctor reconcile. They infiltrate Ernesto's sunrise concert to retrieve Héctor's photo from Ernesto and expose his crimes. Ernesto is crushed by a falling church bell as in his previous life, but the photo falls into the water and disappears.

As the sun rises, Héctor is in danger of being forgotten by Coco and disappearing. Imelda blesses Miguel with no conditions so he can return to the Land of the Living, where he plays a song for Coco that Héctor wrote for her during her childhood. The song sparks her memory of Héctor and revitalizes her, and she gives Miguel the torn-out piece of the photo from the ofrenda, which shows Héctor's face. Elena reconciles with Miguel, accepting both him and music back into the family.

One year later, Miguel proudly presents the family ofrenda – featuring a photo of the now deceased Coco and the restored photo of Héctor and Imelda – to his new baby sister. Letters saved by Coco contain proof that Ernesto stole Héctor's music; as a result, Ernesto's legacy is destroyed and the public honors Héctor in his place. In the Land of the Dead, Héctor and Imelda join Coco for a visit to the living Riveras as Miguel sings and plays for his relatives, both for dead and for living.

You'll never feel bored from the beginning till the end! I always love musicals genre type of movies, and I'm pretty sure this will not disappoint everyone! The story line came between the land of the living and the dead, definitely a warm movie. I really love how the movie shows the Mexico's traditions and cultures, how I wish I can speak Mexican! Beside all of that, all the tracks from the movie were so so good! Never underestimate the power of music!

This film deserves a 9.5/10!

Inside Out

Riley Andersen is born in Minnesota and within her mind, five personifications of her basic emotions—Joy, Sadness, Fear, Disgust, and Anger—gradually come to life and influence her actions via a console in her mind's Headquarters. As she grows up, her experiences become memories, stored in colored orbs, with each color corresponding to an emotion, which are sent into long-term memory each night. Her five most important "core memories" (all of which are happy ones) are housed in a hub; each powers an aspect of her personality which takes the form of floating islands. In the Headquarters, Joy acts as a de facto leader to maintain Riley's cheerful childhood, but since she and the other emotions do not understand Sadness' purpose, she frequently tries to keep Sadness away from the console.

At the age of 11, Riley and her parents move to San Francisco for her father's new business. Riley has poor first experiences: the new house is cramped and old, the moving van with all their belongings is misdirected, her father is under stress from his business, and a poor encounter at a pizza restaurant leaves her disheartened. When Sadness begins touching Riley's happy memories, turning them sad, Joy tries to guard them by isolating her. On Riley's first day at her new school, Sadness accidentally causes Riley to cry in front of her class, creating a sad core memory. Joy, panicking, tries to dispose of it, but accidentally knocks the other core memories loose during a struggle with Sadness, deactivating the personality islands. Joy, Sadness, and the core memories are sucked out of Headquarters and taken to the maze-like storage area of long-term memory.

The other emotions, Anger, Fear, and Disgust try to maintain Riley's happiness in Joy's absence with disastrous results, distancing her from her parents (whom she fought over at dinner), friends, and hobbies (she stormed off during a hockey trial due to her subpar performance). As a result, her personality islands gradually crumble and fall, one by one, into the "Memory Dump", an abyss where memories are forgotten. In desperation, Anger inserts an idea into the console, prompting Riley to run away, believing that her returning to Minnesota will enable her to make new happy core memories.

While navigating through the long-term memory region, Joy and Sadness encounter Bing Bong, Riley's long-forgotten childhood imaginary friend, who suggests riding the train of thought back to Headquarters. En route to the train station, Bing Bong tearfully watches his rainbow wagon rocket being thrown into the memory dump along with other childish artifacts which are out of use as Sadness consoles him and gets him up on his feet by sympathizing his loss, which astonishes Joy. The three eventually catch the train, but it is halted when Riley falls asleep. They succeed in manipulating Riley's dreams to wake her and restart the train, but it is derailed when the "Honesty Island" collapses (when Riley steals her mother's credit card and begins to run away). In desperation, Joy tries to ride a "recall tube" back to Headquarters, but abandons Sadness since close proximity to Sadness will cause the core memories to turn sad, which Joy believes will hurt Riley. But as she takes off, the ground below the tube collapses, breaking the tube and plunging Joy and Bing Bong into the Memory Dump. At the bottom of the abyss, Joy begins to lose hope and breaks into tears, but comes to a realization when she discovers a sad memory of an ice hockey game that turned happy when Riley's parents and friends comforted her. Joy realizes that Sadness serves an important purpose: to induce empathy in others, prompting them to reach out to Riley when she is emotionally overwhelmed and needs help.

Joy and Bing Bong try to use Bing Bong's old wagon rocket to escape the Memory Dump. After several tries, Bing Bong realizes their combined weight is too much and jumps out to allow Joy to escape; having sacrificed himself, Bing Bong fades away completely. In the meantime, Riley bought a one-way bus ticket to Minnesota while her parents grew increasingly worried over her disappearance. Joy reunites with a despondent Sadness and manages to get them to Headquarters, only to discover that Anger's idea has disabled the console, rendering Riley apathetic. To the surprise of the others, Joy hands control of the console to Sadness, who is able to successfully extract the idea, reactivating the console and prompting Riley to alight from the bus and to return home.

As Sadness re-installs the core memories, turning them sad, Riley arrives home to her parents and tearfully confesses that she misses Minnesota and her old life. As her parents comfort her, they emotionally admit they, too, miss Minnesota as much as she does. Joy and Sadness work the console together, creating a new amalgamated bitter-sweet core memory in Riley's Headquarters; a new island forms, representing Riley's acceptance of her new life in San Francisco. A year later at the age of 12, Riley has adapted to her new home, made new friends, returned to her old hobbies while adopting a few new ones, fueled by new, more nuanced core memories from combinations of her emotions. Inside the Headquarters, her emotions all work together on a newly expanded console with room for them all, allowing Riley to lead a more emotionally complex life.

A really new theme and story line, human emotions affect interpersonal relationships and can be significantly moderated by them.

Monster Hunt 2 捉妖记 2

本来没打算看这部戏，但由于要看的电影时间不对，加上表妹超想看这部，所以又再次误打误撞之下看了。

不打算看的原因是因为自己没看第一部，所以有点担心会不会看得一头雾水？但其实并没有，整部戏的观后感觉得还不错。

重要的是，这部戏的大部分演员都是非常熟悉的！井柏然，井柏然，井柏然！继上一次看了他演的《盗墓笔记》后，就觉得他的演技真的太棒了，所以这一次也挺期待的。看了之后更加觉得，井柏然的演技果然没让我失望！

这部戏确实有很多特效，但打戏方面还是很有看点的。加上胡巴、笨笨这些可爱的妖怪令这部戏增添了更多看点。

除了好笑、可爱之外，还有好几幕是伤心、感动的。在电影院自己的眼眶也不知道湿了多少次，是感动也是暖心的。

有一个重大的发现，是我在看完电影后才知道的。原来电影里头饰演朱金真的是李宇春！可是我完全没认出来！真的吓我一大跳啊！春春演技也是杠杠的！

看完后真的有股冲动想要把第一部看了再重新来看第二部！
